Aviva Stadium
A world class stadium for sport and concerts
The Aviva Stadium first opened its doors in 2010 as an updated replacement for the Lansdowne Road Stadium which had been on the site since 1872, increasing the capacity by 2,500. In the decade since its opening, the stadium has won a plethora of awards for architecture, engineering, accessibility, and catering, among others.
It is co-owned by the Irish Rugby Football Union and the Football Association of Ireland, but has played host to several other sports including several college American Football games, drawing massive crowds of both Irish and international fans.
It has also hosted concerts from some of the world’s biggest stars, including Madonna, Lady Gaga, AC/DC, and Billy Joel.
The Drury Court is conveniently located just 15 minutes by car or 35 minutes on foot from the Aviva, and we often have guests returning in high spirits from a wide array of events hosted in the stadium!
