Airport Public Transport (from the airport to city centre)
Regarding transportation from the airport, there are a number of options available:
1) Air Coach: This costs €8.00 per person each way, and the blue buses are located outside the arrivals hall.
The journey into town takes approximately 45 minutes, and the closest stop to the hotel is on Kildare Street.
From here it is approximately a 10 minute walk to our hotel (please see Google walking directions): https://goo.gl/maps/DrcGbVhRQERnPwbH9
2) DublinExpress: You can take the number 782 DublinExpress bus from the airport. The nearest bus stop is on Wellington Quay by Temple Bar and from there the hotel is within 10 minutes walking distance. The DublinExpress bus costs €8.00 for a return ticket when booked online, or €6.00 each way when paying on the bus. Please see google walking directions : https://goo.gl/maps/fss4e4JvKoU2eVvp7
3) No. 16 Public Bus: This is a public bus and costs €3.30 (exact change- only coins accepted) each way.
The journey into town takes approximately 1 hour 10 minutes, and the closest stop to the hotel is George’s Street Arcade.
From here it is a 2 minute walk to our hotel, turning left just before Capitol bar onto Stephen Street Lower.
Visitors to Dublin can purchase a leap card for use on public transport in Dublin: in this case, the fare on the leap card will be €2.30 per person.
4) Taxi: The taxi rank is located outside the arrivals hall at the airport.
This is the only door to door option available and will be the fastest option (as well as the more expensive).
The fare to our hotel should cost in the region of €35.00-€40.00 and the journey should take approximately 30 minutes.
If you are given the option to go via M50 or Port Tunnel, we do not recommend this, as it adds a minimum of €10.00 to the journey and does not save much time in getting to our location.
We are unfortunately unable to schedule collection from the airport, owing to airport taxi licensing laws in Dublin, but can of course assist in scheduling a return journey from the hotel to the airport with our reliable cab company.
