“Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction 2021”, covering Irish diaspora
For many of our guests, a trip to Ireland is a return to their family roots. The Irish diaspora is spread across the globe, and EPIC aims to give visitors and locals alike a deeper insight into Ireland and what it means to be Irish. It is an interactive experience which encourages guests to immerse themselves in the stories of the Irish people who travelled the world, bringing history to life with first-hand accounts of over 300 people throughout Ireland’s rich history. From activity trails to fun workshops, EPIC provides a wonderful day out for people of all ages and is conveniently located in the city centre, just a 10 minute drive or 20 minute walk from the Drury Court!
Want to find out who your ancestors were and where they came from or want to fill out your Family Tree? EPIC has resident genealogists at the Irish Family History Centre: just start with what you know and they’ll help you discover the rest. Located in the EPIC Gift Shop, it’s the perfect place to start your visit and your exploration of Irish ancestry.
Open 7 days per week, from 10.45am until 6.45pm (with last admission at 5pm).
Drury Court Hotel guests can avail of an exclusive 20% discount when booking EPIC online: please enter the code DRURY20 on checkout (via www.epicchq.com) to make the most of this!
